Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Website: https://redminekit.com
1. Introduction
Welcome to RedmineKit (“RedmineKit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of https://redminekit.com, including the purchase, download, and use of Redmine plugins, themes, software products, documentation, and related services offered through our website.
By accessing our website, creating an account, placing an order, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the applicable product licence terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.
2. Products and Services
RedmineKit offers software products and related services designed to extend, customise, or improve Redmine, including:
- Redmine plugins.
- Redmine themes and user interface enhancements.
- Software updates and maintenance releases, where offered.
- Technical documentation and installation guidance.
- Technical support, where included or separately purchased.
- Licence options for single-server and multi-server deployments.
Product descriptions, features, compatibility information, pricing, and included entitlements are displayed on the relevant product pages.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product information is accurate. However, features, compatibility, and availability may vary by product version and your technical environment.
Customers should review the relevant product description and requirements before making a purchase.
3. Eligibility and Customer Information
You must have the legal capacity required under applicable law to enter into a purchase agreement.
When creating an account or placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your relevant account details up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities carried out through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Pricing and Payments
Prices, currencies, taxes, and applicable charges are displayed during the purchase process.
RedmineKit uses PayPal to process payments where PayPal checkout is available. Payments are subject to PayPal's applicable terms and policies.
Depending on the checkout arrangement, you may be redirected to PayPal or use an available PayPal checkout interface.
An order is considered paid when the payment provider confirms successful payment and RedmineKit has verified the transaction.
We may delay or withhold product delivery while a payment is pending, declined, reversed, or reasonably suspected to be fraudulent.
Customers must not use stolen payment information, engage in payment fraud, or intentionally initiate unauthorised transactions.
If a payment fails, you may need to retry the transaction or use another payment method offered at checkout.
5. One-Time Purchases
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, RedmineKit products are sold as one-time purchases rather than recurring subscriptions.
A one-time purchase covers the product and entitlements specified at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated:
- No recurring subscription payment is required to continue using the purchased version.
- The purchased version may be used indefinitely, subject to its applicable licence.
- Future major versions, upgrades, maintenance releases, and technical support are provided according to the applicable product policy.
- Custom development, installation services, and ongoing maintenance are not included unless expressly stated.
A one-time purchase does not automatically entitle you to every future product release or service.
6. Server Licence Options
RedmineKit may offer different licence options based on the number of server instances on which a product may be installed and used.
The licence option selected at checkout determines the applicable commercial server allowance, subject to the product's applicable licence.
6.1 Single-Server Licence
A Single-Server Licence provides the purchased commercial entitlement for one server instance, as specified on the relevant product page.
This option is intended for customers operating a single Redmine server environment.
Additional server installations are subject to the applicable product licence and published server-counting rules.
6.2 Multi-Server Licence
A Multi-Server Licence permits installation on an unlimited number of server instances operated by the purchasing customer or organisation.
No server limit applies to this option.
No upgrade or additional entitlement is required to add servers.
6.3 Server Counting
The applicable product page or accompanying licence documentation will explain how server instances are counted.
Depending on the published rules, relevant environments may include physical servers, virtual machines, cloud instances, or separate hosted installations.
Development, staging, testing, disaster recovery, migration, container, and clustered environments will be treated according to the specific product's documented rules.
Customers with complex infrastructure should contact RedmineKit before purchasing.
6.4 Organisation and Licence Allocation
Commercial licence entitlements are intended for the purchasing customer or organisation identified in the order.
Any restrictions on transferring or reallocating a licence apply only to the extent permitted by the applicable product licence and mandatory law.
Nothing in this section overrides rights granted under an applicable open-source licence.
7. Software Licence and Acceptable Use
Your use of each purchased product is governed by its applicable product licence and any additional terms that are legally consistent with that licence.
You agree not to:
- Use our website to engage in fraud or unlawful activity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, accounts, or systems.
- Interfere with website security or availability.
- Submit malicious code or attempt to compromise our infrastructure.
- Misrepresent your identity or payment information.
- Circumvent valid security measures protecting our website or customer accounts.
Where a product is distributed under an open-source licence, permitted use, modification, and redistribution are governed by that licence. These Terms and Conditions do not prohibit activities that the applicable licence permits.
8. Open-Source Software and Third-Party Components
RedmineKit products are designed for use with Redmine and may include or interact with third-party software.
Redmine and certain components may be distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) or other open-source licences.
Each product's applicable licence files, copyright notices, attribution requirements, and source-code obligations must be respected.
Where a product or component is subject to an open-source licence, that licence governs the relevant rights and obligations. Nothing in these terms is intended to restrict rights that cannot lawfully be restricted under that licence.
Third-party software remains subject to its own applicable licence terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, RedmineKit is an independent provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the official Redmine project.
9. Product Delivery and Downloads
Following successful payment verification, RedmineKit will make the purchased product available through the delivery method specified at checkout or in the order confirmation.
Delivery may include a downloadable archive, an account download area, or another supported delivery method.
Customers are responsible for:
- Downloading and securely storing purchased software.
- Reviewing installation instructions and compatibility requirements.
- Maintaining appropriate backups before installation or upgrades.
- Installing and configuring the product in a suitable environment.
If you experience a download or delivery problem, contact us at contact@redminekit.com.
Download availability and retention are subject to the product's published policy and applicable law. We recommend keeping a secure copy of every purchased release.
10. Updates and Compatibility
Software updates, maintenance releases, and major-version upgrades are provided according to the policy stated on the relevant product page.
RedmineKit does not guarantee compatibility with every Redmine version, Ruby version, database, operating system, server configuration, or third-party plugin.
Before installing an update, customers should review the release notes and compatibility requirements.
We recommend testing updates in a non-production environment before deploying them to a live Redmine installation.
If a product is updated or modified, its applicable licence continues to govern the software and the rights associated with it.
11. Technical Support
Technical support is provided according to the scope and duration stated on the applicable product page or purchase confirmation.
Unless expressly included, a product purchase does not automatically include:
- Custom feature development.
- Installation or migration services.
- Server administration.
- Troubleshooting unrelated third-party software.
- Guaranteed response or resolution times.
- Ongoing maintenance or consulting.
When requesting support, customers should provide sufficient technical information to help us investigate the issue.
Do not send passwords, payment card details, confidential production data, or personal information that is not necessary to resolve a support request.
12. Refunds and Cancellations
Refund requests are governed by the RedmineKit Refund Policy, which is available on our website.
Our published refund policy provides a five-working-day refund request period, subject to its eligibility conditions, applicable product terms, and applicable law.
Customers should review the Refund Policy before purchasing.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions removes any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
For refund enquiries, contact contact@redminekit.com.
13. Intellectual Property and Branding
RedmineKit retains ownership of its trademarks, branding, website content, and other materials to the extent that it owns the relevant rights.
Third-party intellectual property remains the property of its respective owners.
Copyright notices, attribution statements, and other notices must be preserved where required by the applicable licence.
The purchase of a product does not transfer ownership of intellectual property to the customer. Instead, the customer receives the usage and other rights granted by the applicable product licence.
This section does not limit rights to use, modify, or redistribute software granted under an applicable open-source licence.
14. Website Availability and Security
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website and purchase services available and secure.
However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent availability of every website feature.
Access may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, infrastructure problems, security incidents, third-party service outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may take reasonable measures to protect our website, customers, and systems against abuse, fraud, or security threats, subject to applicable law.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law and the relevant product licence, products and website services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
- Every product will meet every individual business requirement.
- Every product will work with all third-party plugins or customisations.
- Installation or updates will be free from errors.
- Every reported defect can be resolved within a particular timeframe.
- Our website will always be available without interruption.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties, statutory guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RedmineKit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, our products or website.
Such losses may include loss of profits, business interruption, loss of business opportunities, or loss of data, to the extent that the exclusion is legally permitted.
Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, protecting their Redmine installations, and testing software before production deployment.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where that exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
17. Privacy and Personal Information
Your use of RedmineKit is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information.
We may process relevant information to complete orders, deliver software, manage licences, provide support, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.
Payment processing may involve PayPal and other service providers identified in our Privacy Policy.
Please review our Privacy Policy before providing personal information through the website.
18. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict access to website accounts, downloads, or related commercial services where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats, unauthorised access, or a material breach of applicable contractual terms.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue, subject to legal requirements and the urgency of the circumstances.
Any restriction will be applied consistently with applicable law and will not revoke rights that a customer retains under an applicable open-source licence.
19. Changes to Products and Terms
We may update our products, website features, prices, and these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The current version of these terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights already granted under an applicable open-source licence or mandatory legal protections.
Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
20. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are subject to applicable law.
The governing law and jurisdiction applicable to a particular transaction will be determined by the applicable agreement and relevant legal requirements.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer protection or other rights that apply to a customer.
If you have a concern about a purchase or product, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
Any invalid provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the applicable product licence, product-specific terms, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, form the relevant contractual framework for your use of RedmineKit, subject to applicable law.
If different documents conflict, the applicable product licence governs the rights it expressly grants for covered software, and mandatory legal requirements prevail over inconsistent contractual provisions.
